    Ergonomic benefits

    • HANDY Forearm Rests are ergonomically far superior to wrist rests because they give support to the whole arm, not only to the wrist.

    • Slide adjustment (0 – 8 cm) allows to choose placing relative to desk.

    Sustainability

    The CertiPUR certification addresses several specific pillars of sustainability for the foam.

    • Indoor Air Quality & Low Emissions: VOC emissions are less than 0.5 parts per million. This protects indoor air quality.
    • Resource Management: The foams are manufactured without ozone-depleting substances (such as CFCs), heavy metals (like lead and mercury), formaldehyde, and certain regulated phthalates. 
    • Circular Economy & Recycling: Post-industrial and post-consumer recycled foams used in furniture still meet strict safety standards.

    The wooden material under the padding has many advantages in terms of sustainability :

    • Biodegradable and can be recycled
    • Low VOCs, emission class E1
    • FSC certified material. The Forest Stewardship Council certificate means that wood has been sourced in an environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable manner.
    • PEFC certified material. PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) means that timber are sourced from sustainably managed forests. It validates that forests are managed ecologically, socially, and economically, protecting biodiversity and supporting local communities. 
    • EPD-certified material. EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) means that certified material is a construction product or material that has undergone a rigorous, independent assessment to verify its environmental impact across its entire life cycle. It functions as a transparent, third-party-verified “nutrition label” for products, reporting data such as carbon emissions, water use, energy consumption, and waste generation. 

    The steel of the sliding attachmen is fully recyclable. The powder coating emits zero or near-zero VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
